another note about the party: after saying my speech, the dj put on "hey jude" and almost everyone danced to it. at one point near the end of the song, all of us were singing along. it felt like a damn movie but it was also very moving.
my mom & dad won't stop talking about it, which means i done good. i printed off some thank-you cards for mom today which i will give her tomorrow so she can send notes to everyone.
